I was singing songs about the cracks in the pavement We couldn’t be alone It seems time froze, we were left with a fragrance We couldn’t be alone ‘Breath in love, breathe out love You’re more then you imagined or realised’ We’d take in the signs but still our minds declined We kept reading, seeing the same signs We better start running or we’ll startle them all We better start running or we’ll startle them all It’s just the cracks in the pavement On my walk home I was talking to all the chalk in the alley We couldn’t be alone Left out drawings of the kids in the valley We couldn’t be alone 'Breath in love, breathe out love You’re more then you imagined or realised' We’d take in the signs but still our minds declined We kept reading, seeing the same signs So we better start running before we startle them all We better start running or we’ll startle them all It’s just the cracks in the pavement On my walk home I didn’t try to hide These tunnels are turning me blind I didn’t try to hide Tunnel visions turning me blind

The Transfer 04:35
'If I were you I’d tame the shrew and put it on its place' The winds wind, I’m losing time I can’t keep up with this pace I’ll make a flaw by the signs on my feet The toil and reckonings gone I feel lost inside the dusty chambers Were the bolters and minors can mourn Break the dawn Show me what you got Something you need is what I have Why not make the transfer I don’t need the face of a fire The life of a pitied bird place I favour the earth instead of the wind Put in a further disgrace Break the dawn Show me what you got Something you need is what I have Why not make the transfer I sleep (sleep, sleep) Don’t tell me what I need (need, need) For mention in this place leaves you no pride She can withstand it herself
3.
Sublime 04:48
I was captured by her amazing feats We left the future for our fantasies She’s the loving lecture to everything I need They couldn’t kill the cancer, now she’s just as sick as me She tangled and severed, left her own pleasures She ripped out her pride and said ‘It’s just you and I’ Bless her hands for my creeks run dry She’s been looking to the sky Said she found the time to be sublime
4.
Motorcade 04:23
Grabbing my soul like I pace the pen It’s fresh morning’s evening, we’ll meet again my friend The sun stings my knees, my jumper covered in fleece It’s not bitter sweet, these two worlds meet This motorcade won’t stop my parade This motorcade won't stop my parade Sweep my sheets, unravel the skies My cookie won’t crumble, the essence so chic I’m soon to be gone and soon to be near When you pace the miles it’s so clear Turning a left through my heart I’m placid through gold, so young but the love is old I pass a prison but it’s covered in leaves This motorcade won’t stop my parade This motorcade won't stop my parade I’m soon to be gone and soon to be near When you pace the miles it’s so clear Turning a left through my heart Grabbing my soul like I pace the pen It’s fresh mornings evening We’ll meet again, my friend

Inisfallen 07:08
You can go to sleep now honey It felt so funny but felt so right So relieved in a moment The chipped floors and the cracked tiles Oh Inisfallen How I fell into your arms every night Oh Inisfallen You kept me wrong you kept me right So why’re you crying? While my friends hold me up I didn’t realise we had something in common I didn’t know you loved them so much They break down my door And burn the floor with sparkling light Well the cops are coming, you better start running Down the stairs and you’ll be right Oh Inisfallen How I fell into your arms every night Oh Inisfallen You kept me wrong you kept me right You kept clear of charisma I lean in as you whisper You say ‘I love your dangling legs, Do you love my cracked head?’

about

Inisfallen is the Debut EP from Timothy Dale, a singer and songwriter based in Brisbane, Australia.

Inisfallen is inspired by a small apartment of the same name which Timothy Dale lived in for a brief period of his life. Within this dingy apartment he spent the majority of his time surrounded by fellow musicians and artists. With a lack of technology around him and a constant collaboration of creative minds, Tim was constantly inspired to write songs about the happenings within and around Inisfallen.

What became of those songwriting sessions is the Inisfallen EP, a blend of indie and alternative rock with influences of folk and chamber music captured within a serene atmosphere of storytelling and charismatic performance.
